Fontana's First Trunk Show

Fontana’s first in home trunk show proved to be a big success. We had a magnificent party and a tremendous amount of new Spring 2010 product that were shown. While browsing all the products, the guests enjoyed cocktails and an abundance of catered hors d'oeuvres. The forty plus guests enjoyed being able to shop and make purchases, all in the comfort of a home.
The two biggest sellers in women’s shoes were the Steve Madden Tuscann wedged sandal and the Cole Haan Whitney gladiator sandal. Both in stock and ready to ship to you for spring. Another big hit was the Jessica Simpson Crepe, a gorgeous brown null wedge sandal. This shoe is a must have. It’s an exclusive shoe carried only by a limited number of specialty stores. Act quickly and you will be one of few with this shoe. Gladiators and wedges will make a big statement this season, make sure you have yours.

Steve Madden proves to be yet another popular choice in men’s shoes, too. The Fader by Steve Madden was the number one seller. It is a great shoe that can be worn with shorts or jeans. Another big seller by Steve Madden was the Bigg, in luggage color. The men stuck to the classics by Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy as well. Men also purchased Raffi polo shirts and Versace ties. Raffi shirts in bright colors are a must for any stylish man this Spring.

Color, color, and more color was what the women want this Spring in handbags. The Elliott Lucca Sintra in aqua was sold immediately. A beautiful bag in a perfect color for spring 2010. Another must for this season is metallic’s. The Donald J. Pliner Banas metallic bag was snagged up quickly, too. It is sold out but may be available for reorder. The Cole Haan Raleigh is always a staple in every classy ladies wardrobe. It was a good seller in the classic black style as well as spring’s new color Raspberry. Yet again, the Donald Pliner bag stole the show. The Jaysie bag made of goatskin flew out the door. It’s in a bright teal color as well. All the ladies loved the bright color and different texture of this bag. The Pliner Jaysie is another sell out. It, too, may be available for reorder. Spring 2010 proves to be a big season for color and the big bag is still in and a must have. Update your wardrobe with a pop of color this season.

All in all, Fontana’s first trunk show received rave reviews from all those who attended. Those who could not attend are looking forward to the next one.
